近日,全国工商联 released the list of "2025 China Top 500 Private Enterprises," with three companies from Shaanxi Province making it to the ranking. These companies include隆基绿能科技股份有限公司, ranked 128th;陕西泰丰盛合控股集团有限公司, ranked 133rd; and荣民控股集团有限公司, ranked 347th.

To compile this list,全国工商联 conducted a survey of 6,379 private enterprises with annual revenue exceeding RMB 10 billion in 2024. The results reveal that the top Chinese private enterprises are characterized by stable growth, profit recovery, industrial focus on manufacturing, accelerated technological innovation, and improved corporate governance. Notably, despite global economic challenges, these leading private enterprises have achieved double-digit growth in their overseas revenue.

According to a representative from Shaanxi Provincial Entrepreneurs Association, the province's private sector demonstrates a pattern of strong leadership and industry concentration. To further boost the development of private enterprises, Shaanxi is actively taking steps to strengthen its industrial chains by identifying and addressing gaps in key industries. The province is also prioritizing increased investment in industrial innovation to drive growth through technological advancement.

The Shaanxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission has introduced a set of measures aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of private enterprises. These measures include:

  • Supporting private enterprises in participating in key industrial chain development projects, with an effort to ensure that private businesses account for no less than 30% of "chain-leading enterprises" and 60% of major配套enterprises.
  • Addressing the issue of small revenue scale and low structural diversity among private firms through targeted培育programs. This includes initiatives like promoting企业upgrades (individual to enterprise conversion, small to medium-sized business scaling up), encouraging stock reform, and facilitating access to capital markets.
  • Fostering deeper collaborations between private enterprises and academic institutions to drive innovation.

These efforts are part of a broader strategy to cultivate a new generation of innovative small and medium-sized enterprises. The province aims to nurture 1000 innovative SMEs, add 600 specialized niche market enterprises, develop 60 manufacturing champions, and increase the number of private enterprises on the official statistics list by around 1500 by 2025.
